Physical Education
Head of Department: Mr J Beer
Introduction
Physical Education is about developing co-ordination, control, precision and fluency in a wide range of skills across a broad range of activities and disciplines. It gives an opportunity for students to develop evaluation, target-setting and analysis skills, whilst developing an awareness of healthy, active lifestyles. The program we offer is prescribed to ensure that students experience lifelong sports, develop resilience in physical activity, embrace competition and have an element of choice in their PE curriculum. The PE Department prides itself on delivering lessons and clubs that make students feel safe, allow them to make progress and give them the chance to fulfil their potential.
